- S. 1(I)This Act may be called the Lovely Profese final Un1versity Short title and Act, 2005 Definitions
- S. 2—
- S. 3(1) There shall be established a University by the name of the Lovely Professional University in the State ofPunjab

- S. 7(I) The University shall exercise its jurisdiction within its campus
- S. 8—
- S. 9(1) The Governor of Pnnjab shall be the Visitor ofthe Universuy
- S. 10—
- S. 11(1) The Vice-Chancellor shall be appointed by the University on such terms and conditions, as may be prescribed
- S. 12—
- S. 13(1) The Director—General shall be appointed by the University on such terms and conditions, as may be prescribed
- S. 14—
- S. 15The Directors shall be appointed in such manner'and exercise and perform such powers and duties, as may be prescribed
- S. 16The Finance Officer shall be appointed in such manner and he shall exercise and perform such duties, as may be prescribed
- S. 17—
- S. 19(1) The Governing Council shall consist ofthe following persons, The Governing namely :—— Council

- S. 21(1) The Executive Council shall consist ofthe following pejns, namely :~ (61) (b) (C) (4)
- S. 22(1) The Finance Committee shall consist ofthe following persons, namely :— (a) the Chancellor or his nominee ;

- S. 25(I) The Governing Councilmay, from time to time, make Ordinances or may amend or repeal the same
- S. 26(I) The Governing Council may, from time to time, make regulatiopx or may amend or repeal the same

- S. 29The University may, for any ofthe purposes as may be prescribed, borrow money from any Bank or Corporation or any other
- S. 30All funds of the University shall be managed in such manner, as may be prescribed
