(I) In pursuit of its objectives and in exercise of its powers and in performing ofits functions, the University shall not discriminate with anyperson whosoever on the basis of caste, class, colour, creed, sex, religion, area or race. (2) The University shall adhere to the State Policy in respect of reservation made by the State Government under the Constitution of India or any 3thc: law-"for the time being in force for reserving seats for different categories of students in respect of the State quota for Punjab domicile.
