For aiding and advising the State Government for giving effect to the provisions of this chapter, the State Government may constitute a committee comprising the following persons:— (1) the Vice-Chancellor; (2) the Vice-Chancellor of the former University; (3) the Secretary, Department of Agriculture, Government of West Bengal or his representative; (4) the Secretary, Finance Department, Government of West Bengal or his representative; (5) the Registrar; (6) the Director of Research, the Director of Extension Education, and the Director of Farms; (7) the Director of Research of the former University.
