(1) The annual accounts prepared by the Comptroller shall be submitted to such examination and audit as the State Government may direct, and a copy of the annual accounts and the audit report shall be submitted to the State Government. (2) The University shall settle the objections, if any, raised in the audit report and shall carry out such instructions thereon as the State Government may issue from time to time. (3) The State Government shall cause the annual accounts and the audit report to be laid before the State Legislature together with its comments thereon. (4) The Comptroller shall, before such date as may be prescribed by Statutes, prepare the annual financial estimates for the next year. (5) The annual accounts and the financial estimates prepared by the Comptroller shall be placed before the Executive Council for approval at its annual meeting, and the Council may pass resolution with reference thereto and communicate the same to the Comptroller, who shall take appropriate action in accordance with such resolution.
