The funds of all moneys of the University shall be managed in such of fund. manner as may be prescribed. Grants. 48. (1) The State Government shall make every year the following lump sum grants to the University:— (a) a grant being not less than the net expenditure incurred in the previous year in respect of the activities of the institutions of agriculture and allied sciences and such Departments of the State Government relating to agriculture and allied sciences as are transferred to the University; 236 The Uttar Banga Krishi Viswavidyalaya Act, 2000. (b) a grant being not less than the estimated expenditure on account of pay and allowances of the employees and contingencies, supplies and services of the University; and (c) a grant to meet such additional items of expenditure, recurring and non-recurring, as the State Government may deem fit for the proper function of the University. (2) The University shall furnish such statements, accounts, reports and other information relating to any grant made by the State Government and its utilisation as that Government may require. (3) Except where the Chancellor, in consultation with the Minister, recommends, no fund or grant of the University shall be diverted from one head of account to another.
