Where possession of the land is taken by the Development Authority under sections 66 or 67, the persons interested in such land shall be entitled to interest at the rate of six per cent. per annum on the amount payable to him under the scheme in respect of the said land from the date on which such possession is taken till the date on which the amount is paid to him by the concerned Authority. 150 The West Bengal Town and Country (Planning and Development) Act, 1979.
