Notwithstanding anyihing to lhe contrary coniained in any other law in force for the lime being, lhe Court of Small Causes having jurisdiction shall, for lhe purpose of this Chapter, mean,— (a) in relation lo any place wiihin the local limits of lhe jurisdiction of lhe Couri of Small Causes of '[Kolkata], lhai Court, and (b) in relation to any other place, the Court of Small Causes at Sealdah.
