(1) If, in respect of any expenses referred to in seciion 560, any dispute arises, the Municipal Commissioner shall refer such dispute to Lhe Couri of Small Causes having jurisdiction or, if lhe amouni of such expenses exceeds two thousand rupees, LO the High Couri for determination. (2) Upon such reference ihe Municipal Commissioner shall defer further proceedings for the recovery of such expenses and shall recover only such amount, if any, as may be determined by the Court of Small Causes or the High Couri, as Lhe case may be.
