Save as otherwise provided in this Acl or the rules or Lhe regulations made lhereunder or in any olher law in force for the lime being, in the case of any dispute in respect of any expenses or any compensation payable to any person by any municipal authority or any officer or employee or the Corporation orany other person under lhis Act or the rules or the regulations made thereunder, lhe amount of such expenses or such compensation shall be determined by the Court of Small Causes having jurisdiction or, if such amount exceeds two thousand rupees, by lhe High CourL on an application being made by such person to lhe Court of Small Causes having jurisdiction or the High Court, as lhe case may be, in this behalT al any lime within one year from the date of such expenses or such compensation first becoming due.
