(1) If lhc Municipal Commissioner is of llie opinion lhai lhe clcansing or disinfection of any building or any pari thereof or of any arlicles in such building or part Lhereof, which are likely to retain infection, or Lhc renewal of flooring of any building or pari (hereof or lhe renewal or plastering of the walls thereof or lhe disinfcclion of any tank, pool or well adjaccnt Lo a building would lend to prevenl or check the spread of any dangerous disease, he may by notice require the owner or occupier Lo cleanse and disinfect such building or pan thereof or article or tank, pool or well or lo renew such flooring and, if necessary, such plastering also within such time as may be specified in Lhc notice.
