(1) Where lhe destruction of any hut or shed is, in the opinion of the Municipal Commissioner, necessary to prevent the spread of any dangerous disease, lhe Municipal Commissioner may by noticc in writing require lhe owner to destroy the hut or .shed and the materials (hereof within such lime as may be specified in the noiice. (2) Where the Municipal Commissioner is satisfied that the destruction of any hut or shed is immediately necessary Tor lhe purpose of preventing the spread of any dangerous disease, he may order lhe owner or occupicr of lhe hut or shed to destroy lhe same Torthwilhormay himself cause it to be destroyed after giving not less than six hours' noiice to lhe owner or occupier, (3) Compensation may be paid by the Municipal Commissioner, in such case as he thinks fit, to any person who sustains subsiantial loss by (he destruction of any such hut or shed, but, except us so allowed by lhe Municipal Commissioner, no claim for compensation shall lie for any loss or damage caused by the exercise of any power under lhis section.
