The salaries and allowances payable to, and the other terms and condi- tions of service of, the Chairperson and other Members shall be such as may be prescribed: Provided that the salary or any allowance payable to, or any other term or condition of service of, any Member shall not be less than that payable to, or of, a Special Secretary to the Government of West Bengal: Provided further that the salary or any allowance payable to, or any other term or condition of service of, any Member shall not, after his appointment as such, be varied to his disadvantage.
