Subject to the supervision, direction and general control of the Vice-Chancellor, the Registrar shall act as the ex-officio Secretary of the Senate as also of the Syndicate, the Academic Council, the Planning Board, the Maharaja Bir Bikram University and the Boards of Faculties and shall not be deemed to be a member of any of the authorities. He shall exer..:ise such powers and perform such duties as may be prescribed, may be assigned to him by the Vice-Chancellor or delegated to him by or under the provisions of this Act, and the Statutes, the Ordinance or the Regulations, as the case may be.
