In this Act, unless the context otherwise requires,- (a) “Academic Council” means the Academic Council of the University; (b) “appointed day” means the date appointed under sub-section (3) of section 1 for the coming into force of this Act; (c) “Authority” means any Authority of the University specified in section 18; (d) “Board” means the Board of Management of the University; (e) “Faculty” means a Faculty of the University; (f) “Government” means the State Government;
