General meetings.- (1) The market committee may, at any time, call a general meeting of the producers of the notified agricultural produce in the notified area and of person licensed under sub-section (1) of section 8, and shall call such a meeting within one month after receipt of a requisition in writing from the Director or from such number of producers and of persons licensed under sub-section (1) of section 8 or portion of the total number of producers and of persons so licensed as may be specified in the bylaws of market committee. 16 (2) If no general meeting is called in accordance with such requisition, the director shall have power to call a general meeting himself.
