(1) The Academic Council shall consist of r h c ~ c z . the following members, namely :- dcmic CounCiI. (i) the Vice-Chancellor ; (ii) the Deans of Faculfies ; (iii) the Dean of Student Welfare ; (iv) the Heads of Departments or varicus Faculties; (v) the Dean of Research ; and (vi) the Dean of Extension Education. (2) The Vice-chancellor shall be the Chairman of the Academic Council and in bis absence any other member authorised by him shall act as the Chairman of the said Council.
