(1) A member enrolled in the Welfare Fund having valid agency/sellership with the essential requirements such as non due in subscription and qualified by selling of the monthly quantum of tickets fixed are entitled to the benefits, subject to the conditions annexed to each benefits. (2) The Executive Committee have the authority to extend any or all of the following benefits to the members of the Fund, subject to the availability of resources,- (a) Pension.- A valid member who completes 10 years continuous membership or 55 years of age, whichever is later, shall be eligible to get pension. Minimum pension shall be Rupees Three Hundred per month and an additional amount of Rupees Ten each for each completed year of continuous membership after the 10th year. (b) Family Pension.- In the event of the death of member/pensioner family pension will be paid to his/her spouse which will be half the amount of pension payable/last drawn. (c) Insurance Coverage.- The Executive Committee with the approval of the Government shall extend suitable life and medical insurance coverage to the members. (d) Medical Assistance.- Members who are not having insurance coverage shall be paid medical assistance for hospitalization for more than 5 days at the rate of Rupees Two Hundred and Fifty and Rupees Fifty for each additional day subject to a maximum of Rupees Two Thousand on production of certificate from a registered Medical Practitioner not below the rank of an Assistant Surgeon. (e) Loans.- The Welfare Fund Scheme will facilitate the members to obtain loans for the purchase of lottery tickets, mopeds, bicycles for putting up kiosks etc., and will contribute towards interest payment at rates to be decided by the Executive Committee. (f) Maternity benefits.- An amount of Rupees Five Thousand will be granted as maternity allowance to all female members having 3 years valid and continuous membership. (g) Financial assistance for marriage.- A valid member having 3/7 years of continuous membership shall be paid for his/her own marriage or the marriage of his/her daughters financial assistance as specified below:- For the marriage of the member (A member having 3 years valid membership).. Rupees Three Thousand For the marriage of daughters (A member having 7 years valid membership).. Rupees Two Thousand and Five Hundred. (h) Financial assistance for education.- Children of the valid members shall be eligible for such financial assistance for educational purposes as per the guidelines formulated by the Executive Committee with the approval of the Government. (i) Death Relief.- In the event of death of a member an amount of Rupees Two Thousand shall be paid to the spouse/children towards meeting the cremation expenses.
