Special Pension to Lottery Agents and Sellers

(1) An amount of Rupees Two Hundred per month shall be paid as special pension to a person who is above 60 years of age and has been an agent or seller for the last continuous period of 5 years as certified by a registered Trade Union of Lottery Agents/Sellers. (2) A person eligible to get the special pension as above, may apply to become a member of the Fund as a special case in Form No. I, within 6 months from the date of notification of the Scheme in the Gazette by remitting an admission fee of Rupees Six Hundred. Such members shall sell tickets for an average amount of Rupees Fifteen Thousand in a quarter. Membership shall be given only after getting the approval of the Chief Executive Officer. (3) The special pension shall be paid only after completion of one year of membership in the Fund and with the approval of the Executive Committee.
