The Chairman. – (1) The Minister in charge of Higher Education of the State shall, by virtue of his office, be the Chairman of the Council. (2) The Chairman shall have the right to call for report on any matter pertaining to the affairs of the Council and offer suggestions for the improvement of the functioning of the Council. (3) The Chairman, shall preside over the meetings of the Governing Council and shall preside over the meetings of the 3[Advisory body] in the absence of the Visitor.
