Section 29

Notice of commencement and continuance of practice

(1) Every person registered under this Act as a nurse, midwife, auxiliary nurse-midwife or health visitor shall give previous notice to the local supervising authority of his intention to commence practice in any local area. (2) Every such nurse, midwife, auxiliary nurse-midwife or health visitor shall give notice of any change of address to the local supervising authority to whom he has notified commencement of practice under sub-section (1) and also to the Registrar. (3) Every nurse, midwife, auxiliary nurse-midwife or health visitor deemed to be registered under sub-section (1) of section 40-A and every dhai entitled to practise under the provisions of this Act shall give notice of any change of address to the local supervising authority within whose jurisdiction he is practicing.
