The port limits for the non-major ports proposed to be developed may be prepared in consultation [with the State Government and the Ministry of Shipping, Government of India] so as to ensure co-ordinated and sustainable development of port facilities with waterways and user facilities. Substituted by Act 16 of 2022. published in K. G. Ext.No.3270 dt.23/9/2022 (w.e.f.19/01/2022). Prior to substitution it read as "with the Ministry of Shipping, Government of India"
