If any person obstructs any person with whom the Corporation has entered into a contract in the performance or execution by such person of his duty or anything which he is empowered or required to do under this Act, [he shall be liable to a fine, which shall not be less than ten thousand rupees but may extend to fifty thousand rupees, subject to such conditions as may be prescribed] Substituted by Act 4 of 2025 published in K. G. Ext. No. 1511 dt. 19/04/2025 (w.e.f. 19/04/2025). Prior to the Substitution it read as: "he shall, on conviction, be punished with imprisonment for a term which may extend to three months or with fine which may extend to three thousand rupees or with both"
