Any person who obstructs the entry of a person authorised under section 32, to enter into or upon any land or building or who obstructs the lawful exercise by him of any power conferred by or under this Act [shall be liable to a fine, which shall not be less than ten thousand rupees but may extend to fifty thousand rupees, subject to such conditions as may be prescribed]. Substituted by Act 4 of 2025 published in K. G. Ext. No. 1511 dt. 19/04/2025 (w.e.f. 19/04/2025). Prior to the Substitution it read as: "shall, on conviction, be punished with simple imprisonment for a term which may extend to three months or with fine which may extend to three thousand rupees or with both"
