(1) In this scheme, unless the context otherwise requires,- (a) 'Act' means the Kerala Co-operative Societies Act, 1969 (21 of 1969); (b) 'Fund' means the Kerala Co-operative Development and Welfare Fund established in accordance with the provisions of the Kerala Co-operative Societies Act, 1969 and the Scheme; (c) 'Contribution' means the sum of money payable to the Fund by the Societies at the rates specified in paragraph 3; (d) 'Board' means the Kerala Co-operative Development and Welfare Fund Board Constituted under paragraph 4; (e) 'Secretary-Treasurer' means the Secretary-Treasurer of the Board; (f) 'Working Capital' means working capital arrived as per the Kerala Co-operative Societies Rules, 1969; (2) Words and expressions used but not defined in this Scheme and defined in the Kerala Co-operative Societies Act, 1969 (21 of 1969), shall have the same meanings respectively assigned to them in the Act.
