Appointment of Accounts Officer and other officers.- (1) The State Government shall appoint an officer of the State Accounts Service, not below the rank of Assistant Controller to be the Accounts Officer of the Board. (2) The Accounts Officer shall report to the Commissioner and shall exercise such power and perform such other duties as may be prescribed. 11
