Duties of the Commissioner.- (1) The Commissioner shall be the Chief Executive and Administrative Officer of the Board. (2) The Commissioner shall in addition to performing such functions as are conferred on him by or under this Act or under any other law for the time being inforce,- (a) Be the Chief Executive of the Board; (b) Be responsible to carry out the resolutions of the State Level Committee; (c) Be responsible for all budgetary planning, enforcement and supervisory functions of the Board; (d) Furnish to the Board all the information relating to the administration and accounts of the Board as well as other matters whenever called upon by the Board to do so; (e) prepare and submit the Annual Reports and audited accounts of the Board for its approval within three months of the close of every financial year and thereafter submit copies of the same to the Board and the State Government; and (f) perform such other functions as may be prescribed.
