Term of Office and remuneration of Non-Official Members.- (1) The term of office of a Non-Official Member of the Board shall be three years and he shall be eligible for reappointment only for one more term. (2) A person appointed as a Non-Official Member may resign his position by a written communication addressed to the Chairman of the Board. (3) A Non-Official Member shall be entitled to a sitting fee of Rs.1000 per day for effective sitting of the Board and shall be entitled to THE HIMACHAL PRADESH POLICE ACT, 2007 31 travelling allowance and daily allowance as per rules of the State Government in this behalf.
