A dispensary shall be established in the open air prison. The Medical Officer posted in the regular prison shall visit the open air prison twice a week and shall provide medical aid to the needy prisoners or his family member. A prisoner shall be entitled to receive medicine and other medical facilities at par with the prisoner in the regular prison. In case of medical emergency, the ailing prisoner shall be taken to regular prison hospital or Government hospital and for indoor treatment, the prisoner shall be transferred to regular prison till his recovery.
