The following records shall be kept for twelve years, namely: - (a) Administration Reports and Returns of Prison, Medical Officer’s Administration Reports and Returns (b) Superintendent’s Journal (c) Medical Officer’s Journal (d) Officer’s Report Book (e) Register of Prisoners to be released (f) Furlough Register (g) Miscellaneous Articles Stock Book (h) Punishment Roll (i) Probation and Confirmation register (cadre-wise) (j) Register of Advances to staff (Advance-wise) (k) Prisoner’s Punishment Book (l) Defaulter Book (m) Fine Statement Book (n) Prisoner’s Property Register (o) Register of valuable property of prisoners (p) Interview Register (q) Register of currents received and issued (r) Laboratory Register (s) Remission Sheets (to be retained in the prison for a period of one year after the unconditional release, death or transfer of the prisoners to whom they relate) (t) Stock Book of Rations (u) Diet Roll (v) Receipt Book for articles received HARYANA GOVT.
