(1) The service of Assistant Superintendent and Sub Assistant Superintendent in the Department is a subordinate service and officers holding these appointments shall be non-gazzetted officers. (2) The recruitment and service conditions of Assistant Superintendents and Sub Assistant Superintendents shall be governed by the rules made in this behalf by the Government. (3) Assistant Superintendent and Sub Assistant Superintendent shall be subordinate to the Deputy Superintendent and shall obey his orders.
