The Deputy Superintendent (Security) shall enter daily in his journal, namely:– (a) lock-out time and the count of the prisoners confined therein; (b) number of staff members who are absent; (c) number of staff members sent on leave; (d) number of staff members who returned from leave; (e) result of checking of gratings and locks of the prison; (f) all instances in which he may have found it necessary to use restraint on any prisoner; (g) lock-up completion time and the count of the prisoners confined therein; (h) any other important occurrence of the day; (i) suggestions regarding prison administration, if any. 1348 HARYANA GOVT.
