The District Legal Services Authority shall nominate legal aid counsels to visit the prisons regularly on fixed days of the week to help the poor and unrepresented prisoners. Any prisoner may seek aid and advice, file bail application, parole application or any other petition, appeal etc. through the legal aid counsel.
