(1) All items received with or found on the person of a prisoner on his admission to prison, or subsequently sent by the Magistrate on his account, shall be received by the prison authorities. (2) Items tendered by the nominee or family member of any prisoner, on his behalf, either at the time of such prisoner’s admission to the prison or subsequently, may, in the discretion of the Superintendent, be either received or refused. When any item is allowed to be received by the Superintendent, such item shall be entered in the list of items belonging to such prisoner in the manner prescribed in the case of item taken from or received with the prisoner at the time of his admission to the prison.
