Every newly admitted prisoner shall be subjected to an orientation program in order to inform him about the rules and regulations of the prison, his rights, duties, entitlement, free legal aid services, discipline and daily routine. Pamphlets containing the rights, duties, entitlements, discipline and 'dos and don'ts’ for the prisoner shall be printed and distributed to enable the prisoner to follow the same and maintain discipline during his stay in the prison.
