(1) The State Government may, by notification, direct that any Delegation. power exercisable by it under this Act except the power to make rules under sections 5 and 21 shall, in relation to such matters and subject to such conditions, if any, as may be specified in the notification, be exercisable also by such officer or authority . subordinate to the State Government as may be specified in the notification. (2) Save as otherwise provided in this Act, the Chief Administrator may, with the approval of the State Government, by an order in writing, delegate any of his powers and functions under this Act or the rules made thereunder to such other officer subordinate to him as may be specified in such order.
