(1) The Directors of the Institutes or Centers of the University shall be appointed by the Director General, with the approval of the Board in such a manner and on such terms and conditions as may be prescribed. (2) The Directors shall assist the Director General in managing the academic, administrative and other affairs of the institutes or centers and shall exercise such powers and perform such functions as may be prescribed or entrusted to them by the Director General.
