(1) The Registrar shall be a whole time salaried officer of the University and shall act as the Secretary of the Board and the Academic Council. (2) He shall be appointed by the Vice-Chancellor with the previous approval of the Board and his qualifications, emoluments and the terms and conditions of service shall be such as may be prescribed. (3) He shall exercise such powers and perform such duties as may be prescribed by the Statutes and Regulations.
