(1) The officers mentioned at items (vii) and (viii) and officers declared as such by the Statutes under item (ix) of section 8 shall be appointed by the Vice-Chancellor with the previous approval of the Board. (2) The qualifications, emoluments and the terms and conditions of service of the officers shall be such as may be determined by Statutes.
