(1) The Director of Extension Education shall be a whole-time salaried officer of the University and shall be appointed by the Vice- Chancellor with the previous approval of the Board in accordance wit h the Statutes made in this behalf. (2) The qualifications, emoluments and the terms and conditions of service of the Director shall be such as may be prescribed. (3) The Director shall exercise such powers and perform such functions and duties as may be prescribed.
