Section 389

Bye-laws to be subject to sanction of State Government.— (1) No bye-law made by the Corporation under this Act shall have any validity until it is approved by the State Government. (2) Before sanctioning any such bye-law, the State Government may modify, vary, amend, delete or add to it. (3) The State Government may cancel or revoke its approval of any such bye-law, and thereupon the bye-laws shall cease to have effect: Provided in case of any addition of any provision in the bye-law, or any such modification, while exercising its power of approval by the State Government, the procedure prescribed in the preceding section of previous publication shall not apply.
