Appointment of the Vice-Chairman and his removal.– (1) The Vice-Chairman shall be appointed by the Government. (2) A person to be appointed to the post of Vice-Chairman shall be an officer of Indian Administrative Service or Group A Central Services or an officer of Additional Secretary level or above of Bihar Administrative Service. (3) The pay, allowances and other conditions of service of the Vice-Chairman shall be such as may be determined by the Government. (4) The Government may, by notification, remove the Vice-Chairman at any time.
