(1) An Anchalik Parishad may be vested by the State Government with such powers under any local or special Act as the State Government may think fit. (2) An Anchalik Parishad shall perform such functions as may be transferred to it by notification under section 31 of 1871. of the Cattle-trespass Act, 1871. (3) An Anchalik Perished shall exercise such other powers, perform such other functions or discharge such other duties as the State Government may, by general or special order, direct.
