(1) When the Chairman or the Vice-Chairman is removed under section 9, the vacancy so caused shall be filled by election in such manner as may be prescribed. (2) A Chairman or a Vice-Chairman elected under sub- section (1) shall hold office for the remainder of the term of his predecessor in office. (3) A Chairman or a Vice-Chairman removed from office under sub-section (1) of section 9 on any of the grounds enumerated in clauses (a), (b) and (c) of that sub-section and clauses (a) and (c) of sub-section (4) of section 12 shall not be eligible for election or appointment as a member of, OT for election or appointment to any office in, any of the bodies constituted under this Act for a period of four years from the date of such removal.
