(1) Every person possessing a recognised veterinary qualification may, subject to the provisions of this Act and on payment of such fee as may be prescribed, apply to have his name entered in the register. The West Bengal Veterinary Practitioners Act, 1960. 7 XXII of 1980.1 (Chapter 1V .—Registration of Veterinary Practitioners and powers and duties of the Council.—Section 21.) (2) A person who applies to have his name entered in the register shall— satisfy the Council that he is in possession of a recognised veterinary qualification, mention in his application the date on which he acquired the qualification which entitles him to claim registration, and (c) give the Council any other information which may reasonably be required for the purpose of registra- tion.
