(1) As soon as may be after the appointed day, the State Government may, in consultation with the Vice-Chancellor, direct, by general or special order, that such of the employees of the State Government as are specified in the order shall be transferred to the Univeristy with effect from such date as may be mentioned therein. (2) The State Government may, in consultation with the Vice- Chancellor, request the former University to depute by order such employees of the former University temporarily to the University for initial establishment and for such period as may be specified in the order: Provided that no such order shall be issued in respect of any employee without the consent of such employee. (3) The employees referred to in sub-section (1) and sub-section (2) shall hold office under the University, subject to such terms and conditions, not being less advantageous than what they were entitled to immediately before the day of transfer or deputation, as the case may be, to the University, as may be determined by the University by Statutes.
