(1) No act or proceedings of any authority or body of the Validation. University shall be invalid merely by reason of the existence of any vacancy among its members or by reason of any person having taken part in the proceedings who is subsequently found not to have been entitled to do so. (2) Save as otherwise provided in this Act, all acts done and orders passed in good faith by the University or any of its authorities or bodies shall be final and no suit shall be instituted against, and no damage shall be claimed from, the University or any of its authorities or bodies for anything done or purported to have been done in pursuance of this Act or the Statutes or the Regulations. (3) No suit, prosecution or other proceeding shall lie against any officer or other employee of the University for any act done or purported to have been done under this Act or the Statutes without the previous sanction of the Council. (4) No officer or other employee of the University shall be liable for any such act in any civil or criminal proceeding, if the act was done in good faith in the discharge of his duties imposed by or under this Act.
