(1) The Registrar shall be appointed by the Chancellor in such manner, as may be provided for by the Statutes. (2) All contracts shall be signed and all documents and records shall be authenticated by the Registrar on behalf of the University. (3) The Registrar shall be the Secretary to the Governing Board and the Academic Council. (4) The Registrar shall exercise such other powers and perform such other functions as may be provided for by the Statutes.
