(1) An elected, appointed or co-opted member of the Board may resign his seat by giving notice in writing to the President, and when such resignation is accepted by the Board, such member shall be deemed to have vacated his seat. (2) The State Government may, by notification, remove any elected, appointed or co-opted member of the Board who, without the consent of the Board, fails to attend three consecutive meetings of the Board.
