(1) The Secretary shall prepare the budget of the Authority and place the same in a meeting of the Authority before the commencement of a financial year and the Authority after due discussion, addition or alteration, as it may think necessary, shall pass the budget and the Secretary shall forward a copy thereof to the State Government. (2) The State Government, after due consideration, shall release assistance or grants in favour of the Authority for carrying out the purposes of this Act.
