Section 11

(1) No person shall be qualified for appointment as a member of the University if, at the time of his appoint- ment, he— (a) has been declared by a competent court to be of unsound mind; or (b) is an undischarged insolvent; or (c) has been convicted by a court of law or an offence which involves moral turpitude. (2) If any member incurs any of the disqualifications enumerated in sub-section (1) after the date of his appoint- ment or if the Chancellor is satisfied that any member bad been suffering from any such disqualification at the time CA his appointment as such member, he shall be removed from his office as a member of the University by the Chancellor.
